AUSTRALIAN ENERGY REGULATOR TO MAKE FINAL DETERMINATIONS

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) proposed what can only be described as massive cuts in operating and capital expenditure for Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Essential Energy, ActewAGL and TransGrid in the draft five-year pricing determination released back in November 2014. Cuts in the order 35 per cent have been detailed based on AER benchmark modelling. The new determination is to apply retrospectively from July 1, 2014.
