US breaks another coke exports record

US exports of petroleum coke set another throughput record in 2011, climbing 9.7pc on the year amid robust Chinese demand – and significant increases to countries including Mexico, Canada and India. Exports hit 32.61mn mt in 2011, continuing a trend of year- over-year growth since 2006. The top three customers in order by volume were China, Japan and Mexico.
