摘要

This method for numerical and analytical calculations of magnetic fields emitted by low frequency eddy currents in conducting shielding material is based on the law of Biot-Savart as well as on the substitution of those eddy currents byshort-circuited turns. It is suitable especially for field calculations for power electronic facilities of large, inhomogeneous geometry and defined conductors. The method may be applied in the calculation of conductor geometries and shielding measures in power converter facilities.
