Fujitsu Develops Bio-Plastic for PCs and Mobile Phones

Fujitsu (Tokyo) says it has developed a new polyam-ide-based plastic made from castor oil extracted from bean seeds.The company says it is considering using the new material for small components such as connector covers used in notebook PCs and cell phones.Fujitsu has developed a prototype notebook PC cover using plastic containing 60%-80% bio-based polyamide (PA-11).
