Steelmakers in China, the world's largest producer of the metal, may be under "more pressure" next year because of higher raw material and shipping costs and measures to rein in exports, the top planning agency said. "The environment for the steel market is not optimistic next year," the National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement on its website on Wednesday. "Iron ore, freight and fuel prices will keep rising."
