Kerr waiting to hail Caesar

A deepwater wildcat has been spudded by Kerr-McGee in the Green Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico, near one of the area’s largest recent finds. The probe targeting the Caesar prospect is being drilled between Chevron’s Tahiti and Tonga discoveries in the Green Canyon area. The Noble semisub Amos Runner is drilling the well in GC 683 targeting a Miocene subsalt structure in a water depth of 4,457ft (1,349m).
