Eni's backlog building

Eni said today that net profit for the first quarter of 2007 came in at US 155m, a 74.2% increase compared to the first quarter of 2006.And the company said it had picked up new contracts worth 3.2 Bn during the period, with its work backlog standing at 17.9 Bn at 31 March 2007.
