UK gas storage developer Portland Gas is looking to bring forward the date for operations to begin to the winter of 2013/2014 from the original date of March 2014. Portland said its subsidiary Infrastrata UK (IS-UK) is working with contractors Hydrock and CB&I to try to enable first stored gas to be available for the winter of 2013/2014 by fast tracking the preparation of the wellpad for drilling operations and the specification of long lead equipment.
