摘要

This is a compilation of five papers presented during the congress. The topics include: the occurrence of pathogenic and faecal Escherichia coli in layer hens; the presence of antimicrobial resistance, class 1 and 2 integrons and gene cassettes in avian E. coli; toxin genotyping of Clostridium perfringens field strains isolated from healthy and diseased chickens; a survey of thermotolerant Campylobacter in pheasants Phasianus colchicus and standardization of quantitative analysis for Lactobacillus acidophilus in poultry feed.
