GOVERNMENT GRANT HELPS DIVERT DEMOLITION DEBRIS

The BioRegional Development Group t has received a ￡95,901 grant from Defra's Business Reuse Fund (BRF) to allow it to work with the demolition sector to pioneer advances in the reuse of demolition work. BioRegional was established in 1992 to tackle over-consumption of resources. It became a registered charity in 1994 and has since developed a number of projects which offer practical solutions for sustainable living such as the Beddington Zero Energy Development (BedZED) and building the Croydon TreeStation.
