Chinese state giants China National Offshore Oil Corp. and Sinopec are reportedly eyeing US Devon Energy's stake in an oil project in Azerbaijan. Bloomberg said last week that the firms are interested in Devon's 5.6% interest in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil fields in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea, a project operated by UK supermajor BP.
