UK independent Premier Oil said Thursday that it has hit 90 meters of net oil pay with its Ca Rong Do exploration well in Block 07/03 in the Nam Con Son Basin off Vietnam. It has started carrying out a drill stem test to evaluate the flow potential of the two most prospective oil reservoir intervals. Further work will be required to determine their significance, partner Pan Pacific Petroleum said.
