Shell to Shut Montreal Refinery

Royal Dutch Shell has deemed two 11th- hour offers to buy its Montreal refinery as too cheap and will go ahead with plans to close the plant. Shell had received two expressions of in- terest for the 130,000 b/d plant just before its Jun.1 deadline. It did not disclose the identity of the suitors or the proposed terms.
