摘要

Operators of the Taq Taq oil field in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq are using 200 trucks, each making two round-trips per day, to supply up to 40,000 barrels per day of oil to a loading station at Khurmala South for export to Turkey via the northern Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline. It takes each truck roughly an hour to unload at the station, which lies 110 kilometers by road from Taq Taq, production manager Mehmet Okutan tells International Oil Daily. The two field operators - Switzerland's Addax Petroleum and Turkish Genel Enerji - and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) provide security for the trucks.
