The synthesis and characterization of two 1D chain vanadyl(IV) arsenates are described; one infinite chain is built up of VO5(H2O) octahedra and As2O7 bitetrahedra, and the other is formed of edge-sharing [V2O8-(H2O)(2)] bioctahedra and AsO4 tetrahedra. [References: 22]
