Interference between mosquito densonucleosis virus and arboviruses

摘要

An interaction between mosquito dens onucleo sis enthomopathogenic virus and arboviruses West Nile, Sindbis, and Bataia in the body of blood-sucking mosquito Aedes aegypti has been studied experimentally. It is established that the infection of larvae causes, among female, a significant weakening of the arboviruses reproduction in salivary glands and the proved decrease in infection litre and, due to this, reduces the number of successful arboviruses transmissions during a sting by 2 to 8 times. All this indicates the interference between enthomopathogenic virus and arboviruses.
