摘要

The governing equations for two dimensional micropolar viscoelastic generalized thermoelastic solid are solved by using thermoelastic theory with two relaxation times developed by Green and Lindsay(G-L theory). The reflection and transmission phenomena of plane waves between two micropolar vicoelastic generalized thermoelastic half-spaces of different properties are considered. The closed form expressions for the reflection and transmission coefficients to that of incident coefficients for various reflected and transmitted waves are obtained and deduced for normal force stiffness, transverse force stiffness, transverse couple stiffness, thermal contact conductance and perfect bonding. The numerical values of modules of the reflection and transmission coefficients are presented graphically with angle of incidence to depict the effect of stiffness and viscosity. Some particular cases have been deduced from the present investigation.
