摘要

Mycotoxins are chemical substances that are produced by Aspergillus sp., Fusarium sp., and Alternaria sp. to name a few. They grow on various substrates, which include plants, cereals, pulses and fruits. In poultry birds' mycotoxicosis usually occursby direct consumption of moldy feeds. This usually leads to impaired growth and even birds may die if they consume excess amount of the toxins. This is further quantified from the fact that the consumption of such poultry products especially meat may lead to complications to the consumer (Arulmozhi et al., 2002).
