摘要

A technique for obtaining a uniform distribution of the radiation dose in a target is described. The specific feature of this technique is the use of the movement of electrons in the transverse magnetic field. The GEANT computer program has been used in a computer simulation of the experiment with the racetrack microtron installed at the Institute of Nuclear Physics of Moscow State University. The calculations show that, for electron beams with energies of 30 to 70 MeV and magnetic fields of 2-4 T with periodic direction reversals, the depth distribution of the beam radiation dose has a maximum similar to the modified Bragg peak for heavy charged particles.
