VWR to be sold from one equity company to another

After sale speculations,which have abounded since the beginning of the year,distribution giant VWR International Inc(West Chester,PA) is to be sold for an undisclosed sum from current owner Clayton,Dubilier&Rice Inc(CDR;New York,NY) to Madison Dearborn Partners(MDP;Chigaco,IL).VWR,second only to Fisher Scientific's distribution empire,had 2006 revenues of over 3.2 billion.
