Noble metal(Pt and An)loaded ETS-4 zeolites showed stable photocatalytic activity for Eh evolution from water containing CH_3OH under UV light irradiation(lambda>300nm),while an original ETS-4 zeolite showed poor photocatalytic activity.Engelhard titanium silicate(ETS)is a novel class of zeolite-type titanium silicate materials,including ETS-4 with a pore opening of 0.37 nm and ETS-10 with that of 0.8 nm. Interestingly,ETS contains chains of-O-Ti~(IV)-O- that exhibit quantum confinement effects and behave as one-dimensional semiconductor nanowires in its framework [1-3].
