Therapeutic management of parafilariasis in a buffalo calf

Focal bleeding sores on the skin surface in a buffalo calf caused by filaroid nematode, identified to be Parafilaria bovicola and its successful therapeutic management with sc ivermectin administration is reported and discussed.
