摘要

This meeting, which focuses on various issues of veterinary surgery, contains 9 sessions of oral abstracts and one session of poster presentations, which are further divided into approximately 188 sub-sessions, all written in English. The first session is a theme session, topics include role of veterinary surgery in poverty and cost effective surgery. Topics in the second session includes issues related to anaesthesiology.Topics in the other sessions are issues on radiology and imaging, small animal surgery, orthopaedic surgery, ruminant surgery, wild life surgery. Other topics include equine surgery, new approach for lifting the injured animal. Topics in the poster session include management of opthalmic problems, egg binding in parrot, scrotal ablation technique in bullocks, urinary tract infection in male goats, surgical managements and foreign body syndrome studies.
