摘要

Navarro et al. (4) outlined an improved technique for grafting small (0.14 to 0.18 mm) shoot tips of citrus scions to in vitro grown seedling rootstocks. In India shoot tip grafting technique has been standardized and improved with growth regulators in citrus reticulata cv. Nagpur mandarin (Vijayakumari et al., 8; Vijayakumari and Singh, 9) and in citrus exotic germplasm (Vijayakumari and Singh, 10). Even the effectiveness of different rootstocks and ages was studied on the success of in vitro grafting (Dass et al., 2). This paper reports the effects of size of shoot tip and source of the shoot tip on success of in vitro grafting and citrus tristeza virus (CTV) and greening bacterium content of Nagpur mandarin plants obtained by shoot tip grafting in vitro.
