AUTOMATIC GRAFTING DEVICE FOR PLANT SHOOTS

PURPOSE: A grafting device is to employ a transfer system to carry the stock and the shoot each held by a separate clamper to a position for joining in contact for grafting. CONSTITUTION: The grafting system comprises a clipper(31) for holding a shoot delivered via a conveyer, a clipper drive cylinder(32), a first longitudinal cylinder(33) for back and forth movement, an up-down movement cylinder(36) for up-down movement of clipper(31) installed in the front of cylinder(33), a lateral moving cylinder(34) installed on the side to move laterally the first longitudinal cylinder(33), a second longitudinal cylinder(35) installed on the bottom of the cylinder(34) for back and forth movement to move the clipper(31) to the grafting position.
