CITROEN'S GROWING reputation as 'the MPV brand' is well deserved. Nearly a quarter of all of Europe's new people movers now come with a double chevron on the nose. This year the car maker's UK range will swell to include eight MPVs, if you count the seven-seat C-Crosser 4×4. Among the smaller ones comes the C3 Picasso, a rival for Nissan's UK market-leading Note and the Euro-favourite Opel/Vauxhall Meriva. At just under 4.1 metres long, it becomes Citroen's smallest people mover, but will only remain so until the more utilitarian Nemo Multispace arrives later this year.
