摘要

A series of 1, 3, 4-Oxadiazole derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for antimicrobial and antidiabetic activities. The newly synthesized compounds have been characterized by IR, ~1H NMR and elemental analysis. All compounds have shown promising antimicrobial and antidiabetic activities when compared with standard drug ciprofloxacin and acarbose respectively. Compounds A_2,B_2,C_1,D_1,D_2,E_1 and E_2 have shown promising antimicrobial activity while compounds A_1,A_2,B_1,C_1,D_1,E_1 and E_2 have shown promising antidiabetic activity.
