Computer Courses in Dairy Education: Strategies for Future Curriculum Development

We are into the information age; computer education is taking on an increasingly prominent role. Information and communication technology (ICT) is making enormous impact on our lives. The ensuing global economic changes necessitate a much more highlyskilled workforce. Hence demands on academic institutions are growing exponentially. Dairy education promises to become an important institution of the 21~(st) century. However it cannot achieve its full potential through traditional models alone. Todaymany Dairy Science Colleges (DSCs) and State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) are, therefore, looking at ways of enhancing/modernizing the traditional curriculum.
