摘要

Reactions of 1-aryl-3-(5-nitro-2-thienyl/furyl)-2-propyne-1-one 3 with anilioacet hydrazides 4 give the 1-anilinoacetyl-3-(5-nitro-2-thienyl/furryl)-5-aryl-5-hydroxypyrazolines 5-76 rather than the expected pyrazoles 7-8. Various attempts have bee nmade for the conversion of 5-6 to 7-8. The studies also reveal that the carbonyl group in 4 is resposnible for the formation of hydroxypyrazoliens. The structures of newly synthesized compounds have been propsoed on the basis of elemental analysis and spectral data, and in some cases through the synthesis of authentic samples by alternative routes.
