A study on the reactivity of 1,3-dimethyl-2,6-diphenyl-4-piperidone :Synthesis of some novel heterocycles

摘要

The reactive functionalities,keto and keto methylene of 1,3-dimethyl-2,6-diphenyl-4-piperidone have been explored to obtain some interesting heterocycles,viz.:tetrahydropyridine,diazepanone,oxazepanone,pyridoindole,thiazolopyridine,furanylmethylene piperidone,pyridopyrimidone and pyridopyrimidinethione by using mirowave,ultrasound and conventional methods.
