JSC NIIK owns proprietary flexible technology for urea production in a high speed drum granulator. The principal difference of this technology from other urea granulation methods is flow chart without external recycle. This technology has been approved on laboratory and commercial scales, patented and meets all the up-to-date requirements: it is environmentally safe, economically sound, easy in operation and maintenance. JSC NIIK emphasizes 4 main application fields of the high-speed drum granulator: production of commercial urea, fattening of small-size granules up to required size, production of "super granules", production of urea based compound fertilisers. On the high-speed drum granulator you can produce granulated urea, sulphurized urea and urea coated with zinc. Supply of formaldehyde to the urea production unit for production of commercial urea can be made only at customer's request. Capacity of the high-speed drum granulator is easily regulated on a small scale from 120 to 240 TPD. But total capacity of the unit has no limitations and is achieved by installation of a number of high-speeddrum granulators.
