EXPERIENCE WITH MODERNIZATION OF DRUM GRANULATOR DRYERS IN MINERAL-FERTILIZER PRODUCTION

Different alternate schemes are examined for the modernization of drum granulator driers (DGD). Recommendations for the reconstruction of DGD components are proposed on the basis of investigations that we conducted: fin blades, box-like screw conveyer, discharge support ring, and injector, as well as the slope of the drum, and its rotational speed.
