摘要

A push-pull strategy for the management of H. armigera on cotton along with the conjunctive use of trap crops (pigeon pea and sunflower), restricted application of NSE 5% on cotton leaving trap crop and application of NPV (250 LE/ha) on trap crop was evaluated in the field during the 2006/07 kharif season in Akola, Maharashtra, India. The treatment in which cotton crop was treated with NSE 5% and trap crop (pigeon pea) treated with NPV (250 LE/ha) was significantly superior as minimum eggs (5.22/plant), larva (0.86/plant), damage in fruiting bodies (0.90%) and locule damage (6.60%) were recorded in the main cotton crop. Maximum yield (862 kg/ha) and monetary return was also recorded in the same treatment.
