摘要

In the present study of Rajni Devi sub-watershed, focus was on the drainage parameters and their impact on the land use of the t)asin. Satellite remote sensing and GIS have been used to map the various land use classes along with drainage parameters.Ten land use/land cover classes have been identified at level III and the stream Is of sixth order. The 0.63 value of elongation ratio in the study area showed it to be slightly elongated basin and the concentration time of flow is high, resulting deposition of the solids along the choes.
