Perspectives of flavor physics at ATLAS and CMS

The investigation of heavy-flavor physics represents an alternativeapproach to direct New Physics searches at LHC. ATLAS and CMS efforts concen-trate on decays with muons in the final state, that can be efficiently selected bythe multiple-level triggers. In this paper we summarize expected results on differentprocesses, including rare beauty hadron decays, 'r decays and qq production, usingthe data taken in the first years of LHC running.
