Strategy for Iron Ore Resources Development

The Orissa State Centre of the Institution organised a two-day All India Seminar on the topic 'Strategy for iron Ore Resources Development - Up to 2020 AD' during March 18-19,2008. The Chief Guest, Shri H S Sethi, Director (Projects), Essar Steel Orissa Limited, elaborated how India has developed its steel making capability during the iast 50 years, producing neariy 54 million ton steel a year in 2007 and mentioned that Government of Orissa was signing various agreements to establish steel plants in that State.
