Seabass culture made easy

Good news for Filipinos who rhapsodize over seabass, the highly prized apahap which is usually the piece de' resistance in banquets or festive tables. Apart from its abundance in local waters, apahap can now be bred and cultured in captivity accordingto studies conducted by research institutions, including the Philippine Council for Aquatic and Marine Research and Development (PCAMRD). The PCAMRD said the abundance and wide distribution in tropical and subtropical waters of the Indo-West-Pacificregion (where the Philippines is located) has made the culture of the,specie both commercially feasible and economically promising.
