The two men like cars, of course. More important, they share a passion for basketball. When Wu traveled to San Antonio in mid-February to meet McCombs, basketball helped seal the deal to form a joint venture. McCombs also owns the San Antonio Spurs, the reigning champions of the National Basketball Association.
