Asia etac may rebound from record low on China market rally

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--Asia ethyl acetate (etac) prices may rebound from a record low on the back of a domestic market rally in China, market participants said on Thursday. The prices of etac offered by China languished at an all-time low average of $610/tonne FOB (free on board) China for the three consecutive weeks ended 9 September, according to data compiled by ICIS. The price was the lowest close since ICIS records began in April 2007.
