SE Asia domestic polymer prices adjusted on volatile currencies

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--As local southeast Asian currencies depreciated in the week, in tandem with the devaluation of Chinas yuan, producers and traders in southeast Asia revised their prices accordingly to react to current market conditions. A major polypropylene (PP) producer in Indonesia revised down its PP list prices due to weak demand, and kept its polyethylene (PE) prices stable due to relatively tighter supply.
