Japan’s Sumitomo Chemical to merge three Singapore subsidiaries

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Sumitomo Chemical has decided to merge its three Singaporebased subsidiaries effective 1 April 2017, the Japanese producer announced on Wednesday. Sumitomo Chemical Asia Pte Ltd will be the surviving company following the merger, while Sumitomo Chemical Singapore Pte Ltd and Sumitomo Chemical (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd will be dissolved, according to the group.
