Carrying diseases and eating through houses, crops and stores, mice in their thousands are no pretty sight. Our agricultural regions cop them worse than anywhere else in the world. IT'S THE STUFF of nightmares. Earlier this year, Charlene Care was woken in the middle of the night by mice crawling across her face as a flood of the vermin invaded every available space in the mallee country of north-western Victoria. Charlene immediately invested in a 2.5m-high bed for her 10-year-old daughter.
