Fourteen papers discuss forest health monitoring in each state of Australia, as well as New Zealand and the USA. The papers cover four broad themes: forest health surveillance methodology in plantations and native forests; surveys designed specifically for early detection of exotic incursions; remote sensing technology to enhance forest health surveillance and plantation productivity assessments; and the benefits of forest health surveillance.
