Harvest time residues of carbosulfan in cotton seed, lint oil and soil.

The harvest time residues of carbosulfan were estimated in cotton seed, lint, oil and soil after three applications of the insecticide at 250, 500 and 1000 g a.i./ha at 15-day intervals on cotton. The interval between the last spray and harvest was 60 days for the first harvest and 90 days for the third harvest. None of the cotton samples (seed, lint and oil) and the soil samples (from the plots that received treatments) had detectable amount of residues of carbosulfan, with the minimum determinable levels of <0.02 mg kg-1 for lint, <0.01 mg kg-1 for seed, <0.03 mg kg-1 for oil and <0.01 mg kg-1 for soil.
