Estimating quality of management of state of complex engineering systems from variations of integral losses of performance potential

The present article considers a new approach to estimating the quality of the management of complex engineering systems that makes it possible to improve the performance of these systems by increasing the efficiency of control actions. This is achieved through the use of a new metric, the variation in the integral losses of the performance potential. An estimate of the possible effect gained from implementation of the proposed approach is presented.
