Updated wheat weather damage test a 'world-first'

CONTINUING research and development of the Australian-developed WheatRite has resulted in its being a world-first 'point-of-care' quality assurance system for grain growers to measure weather damage in their crop. The WheatRite technology was originally licensed by C-Qentec from the Value Added Wheat Co-operative Research Centre (VAWCRC). Through an extensive collaboration with Pro-teome Systems, the test has been developed into a rapid, flow-through format that allows testing of grain quality in the paddock.
