'Naiad Patrol Boats' — Four of ten ten metre Naiad-designed anti trafficking patrol boats for Asia

Naiads built in the USA will be used against drug trafficking in Indonesia and the Philippines. The ten-boat contract was won by Naiad's United States builder based in Newport, Rhode Island. The boats were ordered by the United States Department of Justice as part of its International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program. Established in 1986, the program provides training and equipment for law enforcement in emerging democracies and nations hurt by terrorism. Funding for the boats was supplied by the US State Department.
