THE NEVER Never on the mid-north coast of NSW is many people's idea of paradise. But for people in the Never Never Catchment Group, behind the idyllic appearance of the area lies an ongoing story all too familiar to those involved in natural resourcemanagement. With a backdrop of the escarpment of the Dorrigo Plateau, the Never Never area is a 25-square-kilometre undulating hinterland where land-use is primarily forestry, horticulture, dairy farming and, in recent years, an increasing number of 'lifestyle' properties.
