Alkane Resources Ltd hopes a nondescript farming property 30km south of Dubbo in New South Wales will be its ticket into one of the world's most lucrative minerals markets. Managing director Ian Chalmers told Paydirt during a recent site visit the proposed Dubbo Zirconia project (DZP) would be an Australian-first endeavour to wrangle some of the world's rare earths market share from China.
