Shares of First Quantum Minerals plunged 15% in May on signs that the copper miners legal troubles in the Democratic Republic of Congo are going from bad to worse. Already battling to regain rights that were stripped last year from its Kolwezi tailings Project, the company learned on Friday that he Congolese Supreme Court had annulled the company's rights at the Frontier and Lon-shi copper mines, following a challenge by the country's state-owned miner.
